Wholesale Terms & Conditions

 1. Minimum Order

For wholesale customers of Popping Candy, the initial minimum order is 30 pairs of shoes, across any/all brands we offer, in a variety of sizes. Orders that have less than 4 different size variations will be rejected. After that initial minimum order is met, you may do smaller top-up orders or even order single pairs to be sent directly to your retail customers, however any wholesale order placed for less than 20 pairs will be charged at premium wholesale pricing. To activate normal wholesale pricing, make sure your cart contains at least 20 pairs. Accessories have no minimum order requirements, but please be aware – not all our accessories are available to purchase wholesale. Orders that consistently only contain the same one or two sizes will eventually lead to cancellation of your wholesale account.

 

2. RRP

Products or goods purchased from Popping Candy shall only be sold at or above the recommended retail price (RRP). In the event the Wholesale Account chooses to place the products or goods for a limited time sale at a discount, the Wholesale Account shall not discount the products more than 25% below RRP. Ongoing bundle/bulk deals are not allowed on web or social media stores. Permission for special sale events beyond the 25% discount by the Wholesale Account must be requested in writing to gayle@poppingcandy.com.au and will typically be granted on a semi-annual basis.

 

3. Wholesale Pricing

All prices are listed in AUD and include GST. Wholesale discount percentages vary across brands and are listed clearly on the website for your convenience.

 

4. Returns

Return requests must be made in writing directly to gayle@poppingcandy.com.au within 7 days of delivery date quoting order number and reasons. No returns are acceptable without Popping Candy’s prior approval and delivery instructions for transport. Shipping will be charged. For any goods returned as ‘unsuitable’ there is a re-stocking charge of 15% plus shipping chargeable to customer.

Please email us with details of the product prior to returning it.

In the occasional case of faulty or damaged goods, Popping Candy will replace with in-kind product or product credit if the original is no longer available (see number 8 below for more info).

 

5. Payment

Popping Candy prefers direct bank deposit for all wholesale accounts. Payment must be made and cleared before goods ship. If you choose to use credit card and/or PayPal balance (both processed through PayPal), these payments will incur a merchant fee of 2%.

If paying via bank deposit, please use your order number as reference on the payment, and email proof of payment to ness@poppingcandy.com.au

 

7. Shipping

Shipping is not included in the cost of goods. Currently our website is not set up to automatically calculate shipping on wholesale orders, so once we receive your order, we will calculate and apply postage costs and resend the invoice unless you check out with an immediate payment method (PayPal) – in that case we will email you with a link to pay the shipping costs as a separate payment. NOTE: the website banners advertise a maximum retail shipping of $15 and free shipping over $300  – these amounts are for retail customers ONLY. We always endeavour to keep costs as low as possible and as such, we use Aramex almost exclusively, unless it is significantly cheaper to use Aus Post.

 

8. Damages and Defects

We cannot possibly check every shoe before it leaves our warehouses, as we expect is the case with your business as well. This means customers will get the odd marked/flawed shoe, or receive the wrong size in the box compared to what is printed on the outside. In the case of wrong size, we are happy to do the swap direct to your customer whenever possible to cut down on handling and shipping costs. We will send the replacement direct to your customer without any Popping Candy inclusions, in most cases unboxed, with a prepaid return satchel for the incorrect or damaged item. Unless you are willing to resell the returned item, please do not have your customer return the item to you, just inform us and we will arrange the exchange. 

In the case of marks, flaws or faults that do not impact the wear of the shoeA. if the purchase was made more than 3 months ago, we cannot offer replacement. B. Our preference is to offer a discount/refund/coupon code to the customer if they are willing to keep the item as-is, up to 50% of the purchase price depending on the severity and placement of the flaw/mark. In this case we will offer you a credit to this value against a future order with us to help offset the cost of refunding/rebating. Just let us know as it happens so we can keep track for you. C. If the customer wants a replacement, we will allow this within 90 days of purchase as long as the shoes are unworn. Obviously we cannot guarantee a like for like replacement, but we will happily replace for another product of the same value. D. If the fault/flaw affects the wear of the shoe (sole detached, burst seams, etc), we will replace with like for like, or like value within 6 months of purchase. If the fault is outside this timing, it will be assessed on a case by case basis (please send photos, including the proof of purchase with date). If you accept a return and refund/rebate the customer without contacting us first and its outside the 6 month timeframe, we cannot guarantee replacement or credit for the item. 

 

9. Delivery Window

Please allow at least 3-5 business days from the time of your payment receipt for picking/packing and shipping from our HQ in Bomaderry NSW. Larger orders may require more time; please contact ness@poppingcandy.com.au if you have queries or urgent orders. Shipping times will vary depending on your location, please refer to www.fastway.com.au to calculate approximate shipping times for your area.

 

10. Hot Chocolate Design

Hot Chocolate Design – it is the policy of Hot Chocolate Design that each country is its own “territory” for the purpose of sales of HCD products. As a retailer of HCD products, you MUST NOT SELL TO CUSTOMERS IN NZ or SOUTH AFRICA UNLESS THEY ARE SHIPPING TO AN AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING ADDRESS.

 

11. Branding and Privacy

You must at all times respect the reputations of the brands we stock. Hot Chocolate Design, Popping Candy, SugarPOP, CandyPOP and Irregular Choice have worked very hard to build their following and brand recognition. Any pre-release images or information that you are allowed to view MUST be kept private and NEVER be used on social media or shown to anyone outside your business organisation until permission is granted by the company that created them (or by Popping Candy as their agent).
